After missing a week to take a money-sucking trip to Las Vegas, I came to the station ready to be heard for the first time -- my voice, that is. I tried an awkward mix to see what felt right with my breaking in, but it was difficult. I found it hard to maintain a nice tempo, and found myself playing songs just for the hell of it. After this show I changed my methods slightly and felt much more focused, but this show was admittedly spotty.
Still, there were some gems. The Love and Rockets track is definitely strong and exciting, while Garbage continues to impress. I do like the Rolling Stones song, and the Rainmakers track is just plain catchy! Otherwise, The Grid and Erasure mixes were very dancey and infectious, and are highly recommended to all!
